I am Mike Ash. I'm a front end developer. That means I build websites. I pay my mortgage by building them for Music in Manchester. I also spend some of my spare time building them for lovely people like you.

If you’re looking for someone cheap to do that crappy job which everybody else turned down—the one that you want done by last week—then you’ve come to the wrong place.

If you’re passionate about creating great things and think you might have a project to tickle my fancy (that you don’t mind waiting to see finished) then feel free to get in touch.

Why should you want to work with me though? Well, for starters I’ve worked on this, this and this.

If you need more convincing than that though, here are some things that I’m supposed to say to sell myself…

Everything I build is responsive. Which, if you didn’t already know, is a fancy way of saying it works on your phone. And what use is there in having a website, if you can’t show it off in the pub?

I try to make everything I build look good. I used to think I was a Graphic Designer and sometimes I still pretend to be. This history of playing designer has given me a keen eye for detail and means that I care if your site looks hot or not.

Something about HTML5… blah, blah… jQuery… blah, blah… CSS3… blah, blah…

WordPress? Performance? SEO? Are you bored yet? Because I am.

The end.
